we have 2 long haired chihuahua’s and they look forward to having one a day each - they haven’t been on them long enough to review anything else but we will keep them up as they seem to enjoy them which is a huge bonus
My dogs love eating the vitamins, although, too early to see results. Allie (4-yr old Staffy) has enjoyed Vetalogica products for over two years, and Chase (adopted 9-yr old German Shepherd) well and truly knows a tasty item after only 3 months with us. He was a slow eater before (was given only biscuits for self feeding) and now looks forward to his Vetalogica biscuits at breakfast (after oat milk and turmeric) and after his veggies and meat at dinner. My 12yo Border collie is bouncing at the beach now.
I have been giving my dog these for a couple of years now however he started to develop a mild incontinence issue and also consuming loads of water. Had specialized blood tests & and a bladder ultrasound with all results normal including kidney function; the vet was stumped as to why this has been happening. We decided to review the ingredients of these supplements I was giving him and found information that hemp with long term use in dogs can cause incontinence as it creates 'dry mouth" causing excess consumption of water..bingo! I immediately stopped giving him the vitamins and it was the 1st time he hadn't got up in the middle of the night to drink and also the dribbling urine ceased. I don't doubt that the vitamins have had some good effect on him however I wanted people to know the side effect of hemp long term. Use these to give your dog an extra boost but use sporadically and not for a long time.
