What began with two pharmacist brothers asking how pet nutrition could be better has grown into an Australian family business dedicated to creating nutrition we would proudly feed our own pets.
Where It Began
Two Pharmacists. One Simple Question.
Vetalogica was founded by pharmacist brothers Raymond and Scott Shahidi.
During their years in pharmacy, they regularly saw pet owners asking about using human supplements for their dogs and cats. The problem was clear: products developed for people were not designed around the specific nutritional needs or appropriate dosing requirements of pets.
They believed pet owners deserved a better option.
So they began developing purpose-made pet supplements using carefully researched ingredients and formulations created specifically for dogs and cats.
That idea became Vetalogica.
Then Came Murphy
One Dog Changed Everything
Years later, Murphy, a Labrador, joined the family.
When Murphy began experiencing persistent skin irritation, the brothers struggled to find the kind of natural, carefully formulated food they wanted to feed him.
So they went back to what they knew best: research, formulation and nutrition.
They developed a natural, grain-free recipe with thoughtfully selected ingredients created around Murphy's nutritional needs.
What started with one much-loved Labrador became the foundation for Vetalogica pet food.
